Choose songs to sing at karaoke based on your music library and group of friends!

NOTE: This app is still new and under heavy development - this first release is intended to be used for the very basic use case of searching for community-produced karaoke tracks on YouTube and creating a simple playlist to remind you of your own. choices, but that's about it!

Find your best songs to sing at karaoke!

"What songs do I know well and other people will also like and are available at this karaoke bar?"

KaraokeHunt will read your music listening data from streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube, or tracking services like Last.fm

It will then cross-reference lists of popular karaoke songs to help you find songs that you know well and that others will enjoy too!

"What songs do I know well and are available at this karaoke?"

KaraokeHunt will allow you to cross-reference songs you know with a specific commercial song database – for example Sunfly or Karafun – which are typically used for professional karaoke.

Eventually, we plan to collect data about which places use which databases, to make this even easier for you!

Characteristics:

- Search the Global Karaoke Song Catalog (from all known karaoke providers, including the diveBar community)

- Fetch music analysis data (e.g. genre, mood, tone, danceability)

- Search personal listening history (e.g. from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Last.fm)

- Sortable and filterable song list

- Personal playlist creation

- Post-song survey (e.g., did you enjoy singing this? Did you need to be warmed up? Did others like it?)

- Friends filter (only show songs that your friends also know)

- Group Playlists (playlist for the whole group with each person singing in order)

- Automatically generated playlist recommendations

- Karaoke bar filter (only shows songs that are actually available at location X)

- Transmit Playlist to System (integration with karaoke business partner systems)
